\nShy Nobleman is one of Israel\u2019s most well known and acclaimed Indie
\nRock singer. With some top ten national hit singles and international
\ncritically acclaimed albums behind him.<\/p>\n

What we now regard as Nobleman\u2019s true sound took shape, when at the
\nage of 20 he moved to the heart and soul of indie music, London. After two
\nyears, Shy had become a regular on the vibrant mod-garage scene, gigging at
\nall the major clubs and pubs that London is famed for.<\/p>\n

His first go at putting his music to tape was the single, \u2018Sad Song Happy
\nSong\u2019, which was produced by Liam Watson (The White Stripes) . It
\nimmediately became \u2018pick of the week\u2019 in Britain\u2019s ultimate music weekly,
\nMelody Maker.<\/p>\n

In 2001, Nobleman returned home to Israel in order to write and produce his
\nlandmark debut record \u2018How To Be Shy\u2019.
\nShy invited members of the local psychedelic band, Rockfour, to record
\nwhat became an overnight national success.<\/p>\n

Nobleman\u2019s 60’s like psychedelic pop tunes captured the mood of the
\ncountry and soon the album was voted “record of the year”.<\/p>\n

By word of mouth alone, the album was picked up by music critics in across
\nthe USA, with none other than Rolling Stone Magazine announcing it
\nas \u2018one of the top 10 albums of the year in 2002\u2019. Shy joined the ranks of
\nindie rockers The Hives and The Soundtrack of our lives as Alternative
\nPress Magazine\u2019s \u2018Top 25 International Acts that Can Take Over
\nAmerica\u2019.<\/p>\n

A national coast to coast DIY blitz ensued. Shy hopped the plane to NYC
\nand spent the following months gigging from club to club, city to city
\nincluding NYC staples, like CBGB\u2019s and The Knitting Factory as well as
\nevery other hole from Manhattan to the great Mississippi River.<\/p>\n

Not only was Shy\u2019s extraordinary musical talents recognized, but his
\noutlandish personality led him to being offered his own nationally<\/p>\n

syndicated TV show: “Top of the pops”. Soon after he got himself a job as a
\nhost of a weekly satirical sports television and internet show.<\/p>\n

Recently, Nobleman released his second full length offering \u2018Beautiful
\nLife\u2019. The musicians on the album included some of Israel’s leading indie
\nrock names : Geva Alon, Yotam Ben- Horin (Useless ID), and members of
\nthe Balkan Beat Box and The Monotonix.<\/p>\n

“Beautiful Life” was more power pop and had a harder sound than
\nNobleman’s debut album..
\nThree singles, \u2018Girlfriend\u201d, \u2018Baby in The Rain\u2019 and \u2018Wonderful\u2019 topped the
\nnational charts.<\/p>\n

His impressive popularity led to him being invited to open for world
\nrenowned acts Echo & The Bunnymen and Of Montreal. Even Gruff
\nRhys, lead singer of Super Furry Animals is a fan.<\/p>\n
